- To this add, bajra flour. These 2 flours will add good amount of fiber and iron to the multigrain palak paneer roti for toddlers.
- To enhance the iron and folic acid content further, add spinach. For that select good quality of spinach. Buy the perfect spinach and wash it with clean water to get rid of dirt if any. Choose spinach that has vibrant deep green leaves and stems with no signs of yellowing. The leaves should look fresh and tender, and not be wilted or bruised. - Then wash the spinach leaves with water to get rid of any dirt.

- Add enough water for kneading.
- Mix well and knead into a soft dough.
- Divide the dough for palak paneer roti for toddlers and kids into 4 equal portions.
- Roll each portion into a 100 mm. (4”) diameter circle using little jowar flour for rolling.
- Heat a non-stick tava and place the rolled roti on it.
- Cook the roti on one side till light brown spots appear on the side below.

- When the seeds crackle, add the asafoetida, clove, peppercorn, bottle gourd, carrot, green moong dal, rice, turmeric powder and 1¼ cups of water, mix well and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
- Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
- When it is done, remove the peppercorn and clove. Mash the khichdi a little with the back of a spoon.
- Serve lukewarm with fresh curds.
