Forget Mario, Sonic, and Spyro, Garfield games are where it’s really at. From racers to puzzle games, the iconic orange tabby with a penchant for lasagna has plenty of exciting experiences on Switch and mobile, so we thought they’d bring them all together in one place. So, let’s bust open the cat flap and burst into our list of all the Garfield games on Switch and mobile.
Garfield Lasagna Party
Switch
Everyone from Mario to the My Singing Monsters gang has their own party games, so it’s only fair that Garfield gets a minigame compendium to play with his friends (if you can call Odie that). With over 32 minigames to challenge Garfield, Odie, and the rest of the gang, this party game is ideal if you’ve got a few friends over and want to cause some chaos.
Better still, with three different game modes, you can rock around the board in standard, take on specific tasks in challenge mode, or really dial up the heat with competition mode. Whichever way you play, it’s a fun time with plenty of tasty layers. Garfield Lasagna Party is now also part of theHave Fun Together bundle on Switch, so you can pick it up alongside three other engaging co-op games.
Garfield: Survival of the Fattest
Join Garfield as he heads out to a weight loss camp and leads a rebellion against Jon, creating as much chaos as possible by cooking up some treats on arrival. This simulation game entry on our list of Garfield games is all about turning the camp into a food fair, building places for the titular tabby cat to eat pizza, pasta, and just about anything he can get his hands on.
There are rewards on the line for keeping Garfield happy, including some exclusive comic strips, so be sure to keep building and feeding the fat cat all he can eat. If you know anything about Garfield, you know that’s a lot.
Garfield Kart Furious Racing
Switch
Who needs Mario Kart? Not me, not when I’ve got Garfield Kart Furious Racing to play instead. It’s very similar to Mario’s racer, with power-up items, drift boosts, and plenty of players to pick from. The big difference? Mario Kart doesn’t have lasagna.
If you get bored of beating your friends as you race around suburban Indiana, you can take Garfield Kart online and prove to the world that you are the fastest cat around (even if it means taking a few shortcuts). It’s not quite Mario Kart, but it’s still solid fun. You can pick this one up as part of the Switch-exclusiveGOTTA GO FAST: Racing Collection alongside Moto Racer 4 and Gear Club Unlimited 2.
Garfield Snack Time
Candy Crush? Forget about it. Who needs it when you could be playing Garfield Snack Time, the tabby cat’s own match-three puzzle game? As you might expect, Snack Time swaps out the candy for something Garfield’s a little more interested in – namely pizza, drinks, and, of course, lasagne.
With plenty of levels to power through and no shortage of nods to the long-running comic series, this Garfield puzzler is sure to go down like a lovely Lasagna with fans of the tabby cat.
Garfield Food Truck
iOS and Android
If you’re looking for more match-three fun with the iconic ginger cat, Garfield Food Truck has you covered. It’s a simple concept, but something about Garfield and the gang makes this more fun than your run-of-the-mill mobile puzzle game, and I’ve spent more time than I’d like to admit matching lasagnas against the clock.
Gather eggs, cheese, and more savory snacks as you puzzle your way through countless levels with John and Odie cruising alongside you in the truck. Sure, it’s a very similar puzzle format to plenty of other free mobile games, but it’s got one important ingredient that helps it stand out from the crowd: Garfield.
Garfield’s Bingo
There are no prizes for guessing what this game consists of – yes, it’s bingo but with the added touch of Garfield and pals. We say that, but there are some extra in-game puzzles to try while you’re not waiting for the game to call your numbers, and you can even check out some old-school Garfield comics to keep you engaged.
Oh, and apparently, Binky the Clown makes the inclusion in this game, who I’m led to believe is a classic character as well as being my new sleep paralysis demon. Don’t Google him, trust me.
